After a short and not particularly dark winter in Vancouver, summer is definitely on the way. The snow on Grouse is awful. The daffodils are out. And the cherry blossom – oh the cherry blossom – is out. I’m counting my cherries before they’ve… Hatched?
Anyway, point being we’re starting to get reminders of why summer rocks. And sometimes a picture tells a thousand words (when accompanied by captions in this case).
After a long day at work a long evening brings a gorgeous sunset over the island. I love the way no image of Vancouver is complete without a little reminder of what pays for the city to be here at all: note tankers waiting out in English Bay.
